The screenshots below provide a brief tour of InferEd's capabilities.
RDF Editing - A hierarchical class tree provides document navigation. For each class you can view either a class description, class instances, or class properties. Inferred statements (light) are shown along with asserted facts (bold). |
Statement Proof - Infered can show you the derivation(s) of any inferred statement. |
Instances - All instances of a class are shown in a grid view with instance editing below that. |
Properties - Infered lets you view/edit all properties associated with a class (via range/domain or property restriction). You have the option of viewing all properties or just direct properties of the class. |
Drop-down, Auto-completion editing - Infered offers drop-down selection for resource URIs. |
Ontology Naming and Imports - Infered allows management of ontology imports and lets you change the name of your ontology at any time. |
List Editing - Infered's List Wizard makes editing RDF lists easy. |
Inconsistency Detection - Infered detects inconsistencies as you edit. A bright red icon will become active on your tool bar when an inconsistency exists. Clicking on that icon will bring up a message that tells you the nature of the inconsistency. |
View Source - A view source option lets you easily see the contents of your file while you edit in any of three common formats (rdf/xml, n-triples, or n3/turtle). |
Generated Anonymous Description - Anonymous nodes are shown in resource editing pane labeled with generated descriptions. Double-clicking on the anonymous node will expand or collapse it to show/hide the details of the resource. |
